Please read them before placing an order or booking a service.

2. Our Services

We aim to make water testing a straightforward process, from choosing the right kit to understanding your laboratory results.

Our services may include:

  • Household and business water testing kits.

  • Legionella testing and microbiological analysis.

  • Guidance on choosing and using testing kits.

  • Arrangements for samples to be analysed by an accredited laboratory.

  • Laboratory reports and explanations of test results.

  • Advice on appropriate next steps where potential water quality concerns are identified.

The exact services included in your order will be confirmed before purchase or booking.

3. Ordering Testing Kits

When ordering a testing kit, please ensure that the information you provide is accurate and that the kit is suitable for your property.

The correct kit depends on factors such as the type of property, the number of water outlets and the number of samples required.

If you’re unsure which kit to choose, our team can help before you place your order.

Orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to contact you if additional information is needed or if we cannot fulfil your request.

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices for testing kits and services will be communicated when you place an enquiry or receive a quotation.

We aim to keep pricing clear so you understand what is included before committing to a service.

Any additional charges, including delivery, collection or extra testing costs, will be explained where applicable.

Payment terms and accepted payment methods will be confirmed during the ordering process.

5. Sampling and Customer Responsibilities

Accurate laboratory results depend on samples being collected, labelled, stored and returned correctly.

We provide guidance to help you follow the appropriate procedures.

By using our testing services, you agree to:

  • Follow the sampling instructions supplied with your kit.

  • Provide accurate property and sample details.

  • Use the correct containers and packaging.

  • Arrange the return of samples within the required timeframes.

  • Inform us promptly if anything goes wrong during collection or transportation.

Incorrectly collected, damaged, contaminated or unsuitable samples may affect the testing process and could require replacement samples or further testing.

We will explain any additional arrangements or charges before proceeding where reasonably possible.

6. Laboratory Testing and Results

Water samples are analysed using the testing arrangements and laboratory services included in your order.

For Legionella testing, results are typically available within 2 weeks after samples reach the laboratory.

This is an estimated timeframe rather than a guaranteed delivery date. Delays may occasionally occur due to laboratory requirements, unsuitable samples, transport issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Once your results are available, we will provide the relevant report and help you understand the findings.

Results relate to the samples submitted and the conditions at the time of collection. They do not guarantee that a property’s water system will remain free from bacteria or other contaminants.

7. Understanding Your Test Results

We believe laboratory reports should be clear and useful, not unnecessarily complicated.

Where results identify potential concerns, we can explain the findings and recommend appropriate next steps.

Depending on the circumstances, additional testing, professional assessment or remedial work may be necessary.

Our guidance supports informed decision-making but does not replace a full water risk assessment or the advice of a suitably qualified professional where one is required.

8. Health, Safety and Legal Responsibilities

Water safety is an ongoing responsibility, particularly for landlords, employers, property managers and businesses.

Our testing services can support your water management procedures, but purchasing a testing kit or obtaining a laboratory report does not automatically demonstrate compliance with every applicable health and safety requirement.

Customers remain responsible for managing their properties, carrying out appropriate risk assessments and taking action to address identified hazards.

Where a risk requires specialist intervention, we may recommend seeking assistance from an appropriately qualified water hygiene or treatment professional.

9. Delivery and Returns

We aim to arrange testing kits and sample handling as efficiently as possible.

Delivery and return arrangements depend on the service ordered, your location and the relevant courier or laboratory requirements.

Any delivery estimates provided are subject to circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If your testing kit arrives damaged, is incomplete or is not suitable for the agreed service, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help resolve the issue.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected, including any applicable rights relating to faulty goods, cancellation and refunds.

Further refund or cancellation arrangements will be explained when you place your order.

10. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that plans can change.

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Your cancellation and refund rights will depend on the nature of your purchase, whether the kit has been dispatched, whether testing has begun and the applicable consumer protection laws.

Where a legal cancellation right applies, we will honour it. Any deductions or charges will only be made where permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights.

11. Accuracy of Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep our website information accurate, relevant and up to date.

However, testing methods, prices, service availability and regulatory guidance may change.

The content on our website is provided for general information and should not be treated as a substitute for professional technical, medical or legal advice.

If you need clarification about a service or the suitability of a testing kit, please contact us before making a purchase.

12. Our Responsibility

We take reasonable care in providing our services and working with laboratory and delivery partners.

However, testing results depend on the condition of the samples received and the information provided during collection.

We cannot guarantee that a particular result will be obtained or that a single test will identify every possible water safety risk.

We are not responsible for problems caused by incorrect sampling or information supplied by customers, except where the law makes us responsible.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

Please read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for more details.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes to our services, business operations or legal requirements.

Updated terms will be published on this page.

Unless otherwise agreed or legally required, changes will not retrospectively alter the terms of orders already accepted.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to consumers living elsewhere in the United Kingdom.
